“The Intangible” Zoë Sager, a former LPW Grand and Challenge Champion, has become the first-ever Canadian wrestler signed by WWE ID. The program, launched on October 29, 2024, is designed to “identify the top independent wrestling prospects with an official “WWE ID Prospect” designation and support their developmental journey”.
The announcement was made yesterday in Toronto, Ontario, as part of Northern Crown Wrestling’s latest event.
Sager began her career in 2018, training with former WWE/WCW star Lance Storm at Calgary’s Storm Wrestling Academy. That year also saw her make her in-ring debut for the Prairie Wrestling Alliance, quickly becoming recognized as one of Alberta’s top wrestlers. Since 2021, Sager has not only wrestled locally for Love Pro Wrestling, but for several of the world’s top promotions, including appearances with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), WrestleCore, and Dungeon Wrestling. Not only is Sager both a former LPW Grand and Challenge Champion, but is the current 365 Pro Wrestling Global Women’s Champion. This year, for the second straight year, Sager was named to the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 and the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Women’s 250, earning her worldwide acclaim as one of the world’s top professional wrestlers. Additionally, Sager was a foundational part of Love Pro Wrestling’s pair of history-making events at Rogers Place and West Edmonton Mall.
According to their website, the WWE ID program is designed to “identify the top independent wrestling prospects with an official “WWE ID Prospect” designation and support their developmental journey. WWE ID will give fans the opportunity to follow the paths of these standout prospects on the independent wrestling scene through curated, behind-the-scenes content, as well as highlights and matches showcased across WWE’s social platforms.”
Congratulations, Zoë, from all of us at Love Pro Wrestling!
